How to Install ffmpeg software package in Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

ffmpeg software package provides Tools for transcoding, streaming and playing of multimedia files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ffmpeg 

ffmpeg is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ffmpeg package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ffmpeg *

You will get with ffmpeg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
